Every entrepreneur has been  failed before they succeed. Failure means the entrepreneur are trying to attempt something and learning something new. Although they face the failure, they never give up and determine to do better in their future.

A Malaysian entrepreneur has this kind of characteristics who is Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Shah bin Syed Nor Al-Bukhary. According to official website of Alor Setar (2015), he was born in Alor Setar, Kedah in 1951. His family from Hadramout, Yemen. His father always travel to central Asia for transaction purposes. He is also involved in various fields of business based on farming, construction, engineering, infrastructure and ports.

According to Usahawan (2015), the evidence proved that he showed his entrepreneur characteristics when he was a student, he used to helped his father in cattle farming after school. As their family was having own business, he decided to made Alor Setar to a cattle trading centre. However, the foot and mouth disease in 1970 has devastated the entire business of their cattle. They was very disappointed and decided to no longer involved in the business. However, within a few weeks, his fighting spirit had risen again. The failure never deter Syed Mokhtar. These diseases barriers have been a lesson for him. He understood that an entrepreneurs should be create few business to lower the risks Thus,  he not only selling meat in the market, he also involved in transportation business. In 1972, he managed to get a permit for the four trucks under the company's class A vehicle’s Sentosa. He applied the loan from the MARA and he used to purchase two trucks Mercedes 911LS. With using trucks, he  started to do rice business.

After that, he later expanded its business to other commodities such as sugar through Bukhari Sdn. Bhd. which remains to this day.

This is because his success was awarded the contract to make military uniforms for the Ministry of Defence. Therefore, he decided to set up two companies, namely Amtek Holdings to manufacture shoes and Oriental Garments Uniform Division for the manufacture of clothing.

As a conclusion, becoming a successful entrepreneur, we should have the special characteristics that can be a catalyst to yourself to reach that stage. He could have whatever he had, although still far from adequate as leasing his home and use all his savings to buy the company with a value of ‘RM1’. He takes a big risks to deal with it. For your understanding, Airlines company has two planes which is Boeing-old and they had a debt of RM40 million. However, they will be given six months only to pay off all the outstanding debt. Thus, Tony Fernandez was trying to solve this problem. It erupted when Tony Fernandez had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Mahathir in October, 2001. So, Dr. Mahathir advised he to purchase existing companies, rather than creating the own company.

After 11 September 2001, a period of the worst in the history of commercial aviation industry, causing many people thought that Tony Fernandez has become ‘crazy’ because there are no people at that time who dare to fly. They also predict that the Air Asia Company will go bankrupt. After a year, Air Asia Company  is able to explain the whole debt, and no longer suffer losses.

As we have the determination to do something, we are able to do it even though others thought we are crazy. We cannot stop the people to comment us but we can ignore the comments by others. Just do what we want to do.

Even though he steps down from the helm at the Apple company he founded, he sets an example for those who would aspire to his level of leadership. He is very proactive. Everything that he do, it always give his best for his company. He also like to communicate with his costume, with that ways, he know what his costume need better than they know. For example, above everything else, Steve Jobs really understands his customer deeply. Although he  as a CEO, Jobs has bucked conventional wisdom in the industry and avoided the customers’ demands and expectations of the industries. Sometimes, the most critics’ consumers will bring the best end-user experience and Steve understood it at the time to market.

Moreover, Steve has announced that 99 percent music can be downloaded through Apple phone without any payment. It made many consumers unbelievable with it. It was because people were used to downloading music online for free. At that moment,  the music industry unwilling to accept it and conscious about the rock-bottom price per song. Jobs' apparent stubbornness appeared as an out crop for his deep view about user experience. He realised that Apple’s users actually did know their own demands. Hence, Steve Jobs just fulfilled  the customer’s demand .

As a conclusion, Steve Jobs run Apple with empathetic, effective and creative . He was a leader of people.
